Fate led the child of Light here. Had her daggers not plunged into the soft earth, she never would have met the Lord. The lord who had ruled a small terrain; driving other stags away from it as he searched for a suitable companion.
Ebon hued weapons beat the dirt in a rhythmic two-beat.
It had been love at first sight. Such things were fabled in fairy tale, said to be but myths. It was a magical place though, back then. The night had been bathed in moonlight. Oh, how magical everything had been!
Her moon hide is bathed in sweat from the long travel as she pauses.
They had danced, greeting each other with the usual greetings one extended to another back in the day. Dawn found the two dozing peacefully together, under a willow. He courted her with witty banter, to which she laughed at gaily.
Raising upon her hind pillars, the cursed one let large, dark eyes sweep around her. Then, in one fetal swoop, her daggers bit into the earth, making a ringing sound as they struck minuscule boulders upon the lakeside.
'Twas not meant to be though. A few days after their daughter began to form in her dam's stomach, cruel fate came calling. Once kind, it now demanded for the pregnant one in the form of a savage Light. Before her mother's frightened orbs, her father was slaughtered.
'D,amn the fool who brought it upon himself. D,amn the fool who comes near me.' Nevertheless, a wicked grin graced kissers. The wench was now awaiting for the one who called upon her to be his. Let them choose their own fate.
Having been driven from one place to the next, having had little time to graze, her mother left as her daughter came. She fed upon another mare's milk, whose son had been stillborn, she did this until she was weaned. Then forced as a slave, she did as her 'father' told her to, accepting all that he threw at her. Until she was a yearling, she did not know he was not her father, did not know this was not what all fathers did. Rage and betrayal filled her heart. Surely, other Lights had known. Why had they not come!? Was she just some burden to them, a mongrel that should not have been born?
'I pity the poor b,astard that messes with Isis.' laughed the Light maliciously.
